The Story
Guests,
not spectators
Most cultural tours last forty minutes: a dance, a photo, a table of beadwork. This one lasts four days, because that is roughly how long it takes to stop being a visitor and start being useful.
You stay beside the boma, not inside it. You walk with the herders at dawn, learn which thorn tree marks water, sit through the long afternoon while the cattle rest, and eat what the family eats.

Two Families, One Season
We rotate between two bomas so no household hosts more than eight weeks a year.

No Staged Ceremonies
If there is a ceremony while you are there, you are welcome. If not, nothing is performed.
